Nintendo Classic?

I still have my original 'toaster' I replaced the cartridge slot on and a top loader that I need to clean out once I get the tools to open it. Both still work, but the 'toaster' is definitely crankier on some games than the top loader. Maybe I need to do the NES10 chip fix on the 'toaster'. You can tell the top loader was in a smokers house (and I do mean the plural, it smells that bad!); any advice on how to get rid of the smell when I'm able to open it up?

Putting it in a bag with an open box of baking soda should help. Well, that and cleaning off as much of the tar as you can. I wouldn't mind getting a top-loader some day, but they tend to go for far more than I'm willing to pay...

Anyway...Nintendo also released a Famicom Classic in Japan, with some of the same games with a few local differences and a few different ones; only comment I have on that is why do they get 2 controllers when we only get 1?

It's hard to tell what Nintendo is thinking. Maybe they'll release an equivalent of the NES Action Set someday...

I preordered mine on the day of the announcement, paid it off in full over the next few months and picked it up about 9:30 am on release day, last one in the shop
