depechemodefan's just arrived. We have a tabby with white patterns like the cat on the card.
Nice!
As usual, I lost the stamps for international mail. I did send Kit-Ginevra coins and card. I'm going to send Pixelated the card tomorrow. Sorry, I'm disorganized.
I did get Android Kaeli's card yesterday. Love the kittens, so festive and cute!
Time! Time! Time is what turns kittens into cats.
Don't teach me a lesson; all I learn is that you are an asshole.

All mine are set up to send; should be going out either today or tomorrow.
edit: All sent out except Kit's. The clerk said that the UK does not allow mailing of coins x.x Kit- Have any other quartes reached you (from the US)? How were they sent?

YesterdayI got cards from android Kaeli (kitties! sparkly kitties!) and from Irv (I just realized it says Merry Clarkmas; but I did assume it was Clark Griswald, from National Lampoons Chistmas Vacation)

Ohhh, I sent two quarters...don't call the Feds!

Go bop your clerk on the head with a trout. We do allow mailing of coins-the only conditions are that they be securely enclosed(Sellotaped inside the card or even wrapped in paper inside the card should be fine.) If they're rattling round free in the envelope, they can get loose and get stuck in the automated machines.
Of course, that's assuming they don't fall into any other forbidden category. Are the coins highly magnetic? Explosive? Obscene? Infectious? Sprayed in pesticide? Radioactive? Then alas, you cannot send them.
*Note: You are allowed to send various animals including bees, caterpillars, cockroaches, crickets, earthworms or maggots should you so wish. You may also send 'Destroyers of noxious pests' or 'Leeches and other parasites'. Just because you are allowed to doesn't mean you have to They will not necessarily be welcomed.
The Copyright Monster has made me tell you that my avatar is courtesy of the wonderful Alice XZ.And you don't want to annoy the Copyright Monster.
Whaaaat? Radioactive? Nah. Don't be silly! ... You won't be needing that Geiger counter, it's fine.
Damn. The USPS and carrier services say that it's an issue, apparently buuuut....From what I've found, people send small amounts of coins all the time, so I will give it a shot in the way you described. I still have to mark it on the Customs form, and something like "Gift - numismatic supplies" is recommended. To be fair, that is literally true on both counts in this case ^_^
Ahh, I have like 8 in there, so it was obvious. I used two nested envelopes, and the coins made it heavy enough so that it's considered a "package" rather than a letter anyway. I have other means. I'll repackage them and get it out Monday. Thanks!

I received cards from Android Kaeli, taxguykarl, and Irv this week. ๐
"I look at the stars. It's a clear night and the Milky Way seems so near. That's where I'll be going soon. "We are all star stuff." I suddenly remember Delenn's line from Joe's script. Not a bad prospect. I am not afraid. In the meantime, let me close my eyes and sense the beauty around me. And take that breath under the dark sky full of stars. Breathe in. Breathe out. That's all."
