I got a card from csquared today (well, Friday or Saturday; mail wasn't here yet when I got home Friday and I didn't want to go out in the cold later so I just checked when I got home from Christmas dinner tonight). Also realized I didn't check off Android Kaeli's which I did receive at least a week ago. I am just missing one.

My family gave me a Snoopy card that has him "dance" and make (cartoon) joy shouts when you hit a button. ok, found the lost card, and it is from EricKei. It was under a loaf of bread. Today I got csquared card. The Post Office had the envelope upside down because the cancellation part is upside down on the bottom, so PigPen isn't marked on.Time! Time! Time is what turns kittens into cats.

Our post is limping in (I received a letter today sent on the 8th....) and Pixelated's Snoopy and Charlie Brown are whizzing downhill rapidly through all the little Woodstocks onto my doormat
And for what it's worth, what's the big deal with Charlie Brown? Here we have the Peanuts strip that pops up occasionally but apparently it's huge over the pond with plays and films and musicals and all sorts...

The comic itself has been around since 1950 and quickly struck a chord with US audiences, presumably for the idea of having children who, for the most part, thought and spoke more or less like adults; naturally, part of the criticism of it comes from people who seem to think that children lack the capacity for such things, or even for complex emotions at all. I'm not gonna go and say that kids normally speak with way Linus (blanket boy) does, but I feel sorry for those people. It's just sort of an institution here. Note that, for the first year or two, Charlie Brown was just as much of a dick as the other children were/are.
I don't know if there has been some recent resurgence or what, though the US Post Office did release Peanuts stamps earlier this year.
Fun fact: Charlie is NOT bald. Schultz just didn't want to deal with drawing a full head of hair for the primary character in his strip all the time. I got pixilated's card, love Peanuts gang! I really don't know why Peanuts are popular, when I grew up Peanuts was everywhere, on clothes, bedsheets, combs, cups, stationary...everywhere. The characters are cute, Snoopy is fun and cute. I think everyone I knew had a Snoopy doll. Also, Schultz didn't want his comic strip be called Peanuts; he named the strip Lil' Folks. But I guess the publishers wanted him to change the name to something they wanted.Time! Time! Time is what turns kittens into cats.
