    Ghosties!

        That was some burn.

        I've never had a ghost experience that I was 100% certain WAS a ghost, but I do remember one time a few years ago when I was in that half-awake, half-asleep state, and I heard a tapping noise on my bedroom window.

        Oh, I thought sleepily, it's just a tree branch.

        Then I snapped awake, remembering two things: there were NO trees anywhere near that window.
        And I was on the building's third floor.

        I spent the next hour two just lying there with the blanket pulled up to my nose and my eyes turned towards the window.
