My best friend does a lot of blogging about politics and culture, and works really hard at it, even though she's got a regular job and a 3-yr-old. The other day, she wrote a post that apparently caught someone's eye....because she got a call from freakin' CNN!!!
They asked her to write an op-ed piece for their commentary page. It went up today, and her article is second on the front commentary page!! I'm so proud of her!
(Also, she didn't have a headshot to go with the piece, so I took one of her, so now I have a photo credit on CNN.com, woot!)
I didn't want to post the link, since it's political in nature, and I don't want this to go to Fratching.
But I wanted to brag about my friend!
