They were interviewing the author of "Dead Shot" on the radio this morning and the best quote ever. The calmness he said it with just added to it. Sorry if i got the terminology or verbiage off, I'm not a military guy. 
DJ: What was your scariest moment?
Marine: An aircraft was coming in at me.
DJ: Did you run?
Marine: If I ran he would have shredded me. I was in a building. You see, these aircrafts have 4 50-caliber machine guns, I just have my 50-cal rifle.
DJ: So you went after him?
Marine: Yeah. He got out about 250 rounds, I got off one shot.
DJ: Who won?
Marine: I’m still here, aren’t I
