Well, I've been thinking about getting a folding bicycle.
I'll most likely be using it just to commute to and from work when the weather gets warmer to save on gas, metrocard, and to get my work-out on. The commute is about 12 miles round trip.
I think I've settled on a Citizen Gotham. It's got 20" wheels, weighs about 25 lbs. and is a little under $300. I just can's see myself spending $600 or more for a folding bike.
Oh, and the reasons for a folding bike as opposed to a regular bike is that there isn't much room where I work to be able to keep a regular bike and I live in NYC and don't want to have to worry about my bike being stolen. A folding bike allows me to keep it with me all the time.
Anybody out there know anything about folding bikes?
