Let's hope he decides the wandering life is not for him.
Perhaps a microchip in his ear might be of benefit should he get out and become lost again? We have those here and they do increase the chances of finding a lost pet.
But for now, just relax and have a cup of tea and curl up with the kitty for a good nap. Sounds like both of you can use some down time.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY!!!! I am SO happy to hear that!! I was worried for you guys! I'm glad this had a happy ending!
Pit bull-
There is no breed of dog more in need of our compassion; in need of our call to arms on their behalf; and in need of what should be the full force of our enduring sanctuary.
I saw your facebook post earlier, and I'm glad to hear the good news. I was worried about the little guy myself, and what really troubled me was that it sounded like he ran off before he had a chance to bond with you. I'm glad to see you got him back, and hopefully you'll be able to do all the bonding you weren't able to do with him before.
You should post a pic of him. I bet he's cute.

I am very happy your kitty has returned. Now you can relax, have some ice cream (bet he'd love some too, long as it isn't chocolate!) and get to know each other again.
