Sorta. My deviated septum was finally straightened and the turbinades were shrunk. It was done Wednesday morning and it actually went really well. My surgeon was good and the anesthesiologist actually listened to what I said. My husband is quite envious as he keeps remembering how poorly his went and the long recovery and keeps expecting me to be a lot more miserable. He's been treating me very nicely. (Thank you, honey.)
There are some unpleasant things happening, which is to be expected when you've got splints sewn into your nose, but my breathing and hearing should be a lot better within a few weeks.
Of course, being me, I'm paranoid about what will happen in return for the good stuff.
