God I hate people(doggies)

I really hate people,last night these little dogs showed up at my house. One is a jack russel and the other one is a jack russel mix I think with wire hair terrier. Anyways I think someone threw them out,since they have no collars and no neighbors were looking for them. Well they ran away last night before I could get to them.This morning I was driving to work and they were on fairfax road(AKA death road).Stupid me gets out of the car and runs across two lanes of traffic to get them.So my hubby is going into work at 12:00 before our jackass animal shelter doesn't open til then. But I really hate people these dogs were pets at one time because they are the sweetest dogs I've ever seen. It also doesn't help that I live in the country where everyone drops doggies off at.

One thing I can never forgive is dropping off your pets into the wild to get rid of them.

For freak's sake, the local SPCA will take them FOR FREE. All you've got to do is (from obviously their perspective) admit you're deadbeat who doesn't want their dog/cat any more and go hand it over.

I can't imagine the kind of personality that is afraid to tell a random stranger (by going there) that they no longer want to keep their pet, and would rather dump it in wild than go through that obviously horrific experience.

I can't stand people who would dump their pets under any circumstances. Especially those monsters who like the animal when they are small and cute, but once they grow up, no longer want it. I'm worried about my kitty for after my G-parents die. He's an outdoor cat, and I don't think he'd be happy staying in an apartment or even a house all day. But I don't want to just leave him, hoping someone will adopt him as an outdoor cat or even just feed him on occation.

The ex admitted that he did just that once; the cat was old and had urinary/kidney problems to boot Rather than find out what was wrong with the poor kitty, he just locked her out of the house one day.

A lot of people around here will just let the animal loose if they have to move.
