I like a lot, myself! (also I like and and and....and...and..)

And, to reply to the running list of people who have died... wow, that's a lot. Makes me sad to think about it.
1129. I will refrain from casting Dimension Jump and Magnificent Mansion on every police box we pass.

Had it occurred to anyone that perhaps I was the one beating the dead horse?

I just found the whole "Billy Mays" thing annoying in light of the fact that I had read a thread where Billy Mays and his annoying commercials, as well as his Discovery Channel documentary type show, had been the topic of numerous posts. To suddenly have this drawn out, back and forth discussion as to who he was and whether his death was worthy of being called a "celebrity" death seemed silly.

Whether anyone felt I was singling out or being rude, I apologize if it seemed that way. It had already been established that some people might not know who he was. It had already been discussed that some people didn't feel he was a "celebrity". We got that point. Belabouring it with even more discussion seemed pointless, in my opinion.

The man is dead at age 50.

        Enough said.

As for asking to have the thread brought to topic, I thought I had tried to do that in 2 previous posts.

Obviously, my point was obscured, so I will be much clearer:

Please get back on topic and stop discussing whether the people mentioned are deserving of the title "celebrity".

The thread was keeping a tally of the deaths of people who have been in the news and have achieved some type of fame.

There do seem to have been a lot in the last few weeks.

Too tired of living and too tired to end it. What a conundrum.

Life's too short to get all caught up in hair splitting, really.
Unless you're a hairdresser, of course.

Back on topic, this whole thing with Steve McNair is so bizarre. Tragic, but bizarre.
