Four and a half years ago, I was sitting with a female coworker of mine. We were discussing how hard it was for each other to find dates. I remember telling her, "Fine. Let's just tell the world to fk off and go on a date together." Not the smoothest line in the world, but hey. We did the next day, having breakfast (we worked night shift). 2 months later, I proposed (in my sneaky way). About a year later, we marry. 3 years later, I still love her and make certain she knows it.
I write this for two reasons: 1) many of the people I know are going through separations or divorces; and 2) My third year anniversary was last week and it's still fresh in my mind. But basically, this all boils down to one simple thought.
I love my wife.
