Howdy, lil strangers, long time

So I thought my 3 hermit crabs died a few months ago....or that they were molting. Funny thing about hermies is.....unless the tank reeks of dead fish....do not assume dead. I hadn't seen them in weeks, and I know it molting can take many weeks.

Last weekend, I saw the big one chillin' And the food s being rapidly eaten now. Today....I saw 2 of them....the 3rd is still buried.


Whew.....looks like I am taking care of these guys correctly....had 'em for just about a year now.

As soon as I see all 3, I can clean the tank!!

I had a hermit crab when I was a kid. My brother and I each got one when we were on vacation 'down the shore'...they didn't last long enough to worry about molting and such...
