  • Wow! A diet that works!

For about a month I've put myself on a diet and it really works.

No stupid fad diet. Just a matter of eating healthier and cutting down on portions. Not to mention the fact that I haven't eaten fast food in about two weeks now and started eating more salad foods (Greek pitas are awesome!). My weight was so far went from 225lbs. to 212 lbs.

I also exercise more. I now have more energy and I can now get by on 7 hours of sleep instead of needing 9 hours.

To sum it up: Eat smaller portions and cut out the grease. Eat more salad products and exercise.

Congrats, you've figured out the best diet! Sometimes, it's not the crazy no carbs, no good food, chocolate cake diets that work but just general healthy eating and exercise. I would love to drop some weight. I'll have to give that exercise thing a try.

Well Greenday you know where I got this idea from????

      The French!

      Allow me to elaborate.....

One day I saw a news piece on how the people in France are well-known for their diet largely consisting of chocolates and sweets. They eat them all the time, yet you hardly ever see overweight people there. They asked a few people on the streets of Paris and they all said that it's all about moderation. Yeah they eat sweets, but they dont engorge on them. They eat much smaller portions than we do over here.

When I was at Red Robin Friday I ordered one of their burgers. But I cut it in half and shared the other half with my wife instead of eating the whole thing. I also noticed that I had less indigestion too.

Bottom line: It's all about moderation. Cut down on your calories. I try not to keep my calorie intake in between 1,500 to 2,000 a day.
