What! Oh, **** no! (rant)
So, Dragon*Con this year made an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest number of people simultaneously dancing to Michael Jackson's "Thriller" in a single location. D*C had more than 2,000 people register, and 903 actually dance in the attempt. Guinness told the organizers the rules and regulations for the attempt, and the organizers busted their asses off making sure that all of the dancers knew them, and the dance.
And Guinness handed the record over to the group in Mexico, who (just from watching the youtube videos) didn't meet two of the requirements for the record they were given.
I busted my ass to learn the dance. I gave up a lot of the con so I could participate in this. And Guinness can't even follow their own fucking rules for their records.
Yes, Mexico should get some recognition for getting 13,000 people in one place, but most of them only danced for half the song. This just pisses me off.
