Just got a letter from my health insurance that they're stopping my coverage at the end of the month due to not receiving my reapplication...it was mailed two days before the date on the letter (and had the processing center been an actual street address and not a PO box I could have hand-delivered it that day). Yes, it was "late" by their standards (less than a day) but I was out of town until the deadline and forgot. So that's my fault.
I call, they still say "never received it" (I knew I should have sent it registered but I didn't have the cash on me at the time). I know when I sent it though.
The easiest thing for me would probably be to simply send the whole application in again...but I can't get a straight answer as to what proof they need for self-employed types (I do as-needed work for a nonprofit, petsitting and sell some stuff online).
