...and have to wash the walls and cabinets: give the dog (a 93-lb lab) a bath in the bathtub because it's too cold to give him one outside. Then, be unable to convince said dog to shake IN the tub BEHIND the shower curtain. Oh no, it's much more fun to shake in the middle of the bathroom...TWICE...and soak the entire bathroom.

At least he - and the bathroom - are now clean...

There are easier ways to clean the bathroom, you know

There is a do-it-yourself place near me where you can give your dog a bath. (I think they do grooming, too, but you can basically rent a tub if you want and bring your own shampoo.)

This is one of the advantages of living in south Florida - it's rarely too cold to give the dog a bath outside and NEVER to cold for too long.

I think any PetSmart and PetCo that offers grooming / bathing also have a do it yourself dog bath area, too.
