So i was in the ER today

So i went to the Urgent care because i have a nasty hot and painful rash on my leg and think i might have other possible infections.

so i go and wait about an hour and half and give a urine sample go wait some more and see the doctor who looks at my leg squeezes it in a few places and looks up at me and says, "Your leg is REALLY swollen, which makes me worry. You need to go to the ER. I think you might have blood clots."

so i go to the ER.

and cry twice on the phone with family members.

i get blood taken form my wrist and have an ultra sound of my leg (hello 4th ultra sound in my life), find out i have a spot in... my hip joint lets say... that makes me giggle.

no clots!

just nice nasty infection.

so i get really strong antibiotics. and sent home.


im tired.

Wait, they didn't lance out some of the infection?

While that is a ewwww thought, I have had infection lanced before and oh my goodness did it feel so much better to not have the skin stretched.

take your hand
place that against the front of your calf spread out all the way even your fingers.
thats the nasty HOT rash on my calf
add some bruises and mark up and down the back of that calf.

thats why no lancing on me.
