  • Just An Idle Question

    Sometimes I wonder strange things

    Latest idle wondering is this

There are so many well known people in the world and so many accidents illnesses etc, why don't we have more than 30 or so well known people who pass every year?

Last one I reall was Michael Jackson last June.

To my mind, it would be possible for a well known person to pass on every day.

Customer "why did you answer the phone if you can't help me?"

Well known where, and for what, and to who?

Because from a quick look, certainly seems like Wikipedia feels someone worth noting died on each day. Usually multiple people.
    Ba'al: I'm a god. Gods are all-knowing.

If Michael Jackson is your standard for "well known" then there really aren't that many, and most of them aren't still THAT famous by the time they get around to dying at 80 or so.
Now the trouble about trying to make yourself stupider than you really are is that you very often succeed.
