Nope, not really. I'm getting back about the same I get back every other year. Considering that this is "progressive" Wisconsin, that loves to tax anything and everything, that's about as good as I can expect.Knowledge is power. Power corrupts. Study hard. Be evil.

I always break even on the state and local. The federal is where I get money back.Sometimes life is altered.

I always get shafted on the PA return....but always get a refund from the Feds. Of course, red tape was *invented* in Pennsylvania, so I'm not surprised

My state only has a sales tax. No income tax, so I only have to file taxes with federal.
So my answer to your question is no, I'm not disappointed.

From what I hear from the sister of mine who did my taxes, I shouldn't have a complaint about my state taxes.
Fed, on the other hand...oh, I'm still getting money back, but not nearly as much as I expected to.
