Did you ever have anything happen which try as you might to explain it, you just can't understand what happened?

Boyfriend and I were watching tv when we heard the most almighty crash coming down the stairs as if someone had fallen down, or had dropped something which had made a noise.

We both dashed to the stairs and there was nothing there.The sound came from within the house.I even went into all the other rooms and opened cupboards to see if anything had fallen.Everything was in its place.

We went back to the tv, and we heard the same noise in the staircase again, fainter.

Inexplicable, or at least, I can't explain it.

check the bathroom. one night, heard a crash...couldn't figure out what it was. then the next night when i went to take a shower, my corner shelf thingy had broken and crashed into my tub.

That's happened to us, too. And, like you, we didn't figure out what it was for a day or so till we opened the shower curtain to take a shower.

Do you have cats? I hear crashing all the time at my place and can never find anything that had fallen. So I just blame my cats.
