To cover the cranium

I don't know if it's because I've been playing a lot of Red Dead Redemption or watching Mythbusters, but lately, I've been feeling I need a hat. Not a ball cap, but an actual hat. Wal-Mart is selling some, but the ones they offer have a small brim that comes up in the back (wish I could find a photo). I'm looking for something like Adam Savage's fedora.

Anyone else here wear something like that? Or know where I could get one cheaply?

I don't know, but with my increasing hair loss, a hat to protect my increasingly hairless head from the sun would be welcome, so let me know what you find. :-)

I have several Fedora's myself and a Cloche Hat (a bell shaped hat style from the 1920s). I would love to have a boater hat but they are hard to find in my area.

Actually, that hat that Adam Savage has looks more similar to a Akubra then a Fedora.

I know....and it's awesome.

I got 2 hats today. One is the one at Wal-Mart which my wife said looked good on me. The other, we got at TJ-Maxx. It has a higher crown and larger brim, but similar to the Wal-Mart one. Pics will follow when I get the chance.

It annoys the hell out of me. Not that it's a bad had, mind you, but because, IIRC, he specifically mentions not wearing a hat, and cover art that doesn't reflect what's in the book irritates me.
