  • Good hors d'oeuvre

I cut bratwursts into disks and wrapped them in bacon. I secured them with toothpicks and baked them at 425 for 20 mins. When ready, I served them with KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce for dipping.

    Bon appetit!

Yum! One itsy suggestion - Gates BBQ sauce. I don't like the restaurant (I don't like being yelled at, tyvm) but the sauce is good and has no HFCS. I frequently put chicken in a pan, cover it with Gates mild sauce, worcestershire, and hot sauce, and bake at 360 for around 30 minutes (time and temp depends on how much chicken).

I've had Gates and it is an excellent sauce. Unfortunately, I had to go with a budget .

Sometime, I should post my meat packet recipe. I think I'd scandalize the vegans, though

Unfortunately, I took the old cooking advice of "cook hungry." They didn't...umm....last.

If I make another batch, I'll make it look spiffy and take some pictures.

                  At the risk of threadjacking:

You will also like my wife's comically simple meatballs.

An electric skillet also works well.

Depends on the kind of meat for the meatballs. You can find some made from turkey, soy or even eggplant.
