Family and I are going out for a friend's wake this weekend, and she needed her shots. This morning I acquired a kitten that I couldn't place in a shelter, so Mom and Dad were going to pick up the kitten here and take Pepper and kitten to the vet. When she got here, I noticed that she had heatstroke, and hosed her off a bit. She got to the vet's office and collapsed, they put her on oxygen, but she was spitting up blood by that time and she just went.

I'm so sorry to hear what happened. Heart problems and excessive heat (like what we've had - moreso than usual) is never a good combination.
