I've never watched Dr. Who. Didn't even know what it was about until I joined this forum a couple years ago. I learned the gist of it because of all the different references to it.

I can top that. I've seen almost no Monty Python, in addition to having never seen Dr. Who. (Although I knew most of the references.) I have never seen the dead parrot sketch. I have never seen the cheese shop sketch.

I lived a "sheltered" childhood. I wasn't allowed to watch Monty Python.
Heck, I'm married now, going to be 20 this year, and mum wouldn't let me watch some show on tv because "there's sex in it." Dude, mum, there's sex every day. Get over yourself and hand me the remote!

I worked a 15 hr shift, came home, took a four hour nap and have to go back to work....

That's because I get seriously freaked out by everything.
The only really scary parts (according to my husband and my brother) are the episodes where it's trying to scare you...Blink comes to mind.
Seriously, I get jumpy and scared from Courage The Cowardly Dog...I'm such a wimp.

Dr Who wasn't on the 'Evil List' surprisingly, my brother used to find it so scary that he hid behind the couch everytime he heard the music.

Monty Python is the ONLY thing that kept Bubbles calm when she had gastro and Jazzy amused while I was busy cleaning up, I lost count of how many times we watched 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail'. Now Jazzy tells the dogs: "No! Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!"

I'm so going to get myself banned from my grocery store. The one on my way home (the other one is a better store, and not much further, but it's less convenient to get to).
