Whiskey's Split Pea Soup

Ingredients:
4lbs pork shoulder
1/2C apple cider vinegar
1 onion, diced
8TBSP Worcestershire
(you can add seasonings of your choice)
1 16oz bag of green split peas
Couple cloves of garlic


Instruction:
Dice onion and put it in the bottom of the crock pot. Pour half of the liquid over the onion. Pour in bag of split peas. I used water to cover whatever wasnt covered about a 1/2 inch above the peas. Put Pork in the pot, pour remaining liquid over pork. Put crockpot on low for 10-12 hours or high 4-6 (i think, i always do low so im not sure on the high temp length of cooking).

Pull apart pork into bite size pieces and stir. Add seasonings you find tasty.

I would have preferred to emulsify it but I dont have a stick blender.

Hehe. I didn't look at the recipe that closely until after, since I wasn't making the yellow cake. Then we compared it with the chocolate cake recipe and realized what was missing. It was more fun to pretend we didn't know why
