Oh, here's another one. This one is a bit odd, though. TreasureChest was taking a photo of my hat, and the streak of blue just happened to be there.

ETA: Another one, though it's another bad picture. Red eyes, and for some reason I'm holding my head so I have a double chin. No clue what happened. Also, you can see how I fried the right side of my hair. All that fluff is supposed to be curl.

Next time I leave out the oatmeal, though. You don't get the texture of the ginger because of the oatmeal.

Do you have a sourdough starter, by any chance? My aunt used to have one, and she let me use it sometimes when I wanted to make rolls. But it didn't survive the move to Philly, and she hasn't started a new one that I can feed off of. So I miss my sourdough.

Ah, ok. I was more looking for a good way to begin a starter. I never seeded one from my aunt, so I've been hesitant about starting one myself. I don't really want to waste a bunch of ingredients and time for the sake of screwing up. So I've been asking bakers for advice.

I say go to the store.

You know, comments like that make me wonder if the reason I have so many interesting events is because everyone here is wishing I do, and that energy feeds the universe until circumstances cause a confluence of events and boom! Lupo has sightings every shopping trip.
