And this is the other reason that I don't dye my hair. Soooo much $$$$.

I never do anything drastic so I can just let it grow out/fade (red fades so fast) without having it be obvious. Though when I got highlights touched up she made them too blonde. That took a while. But the bulk of it was red and it grew out without showing major roots.

I've been getting grey and silver hair since the age of 16-17...

I'm also a natural blonde, which does NOT look good on me. So, I color my hair, darken it mostly. And purple. I like the burgundy purple. Lots.

Oh yeah.... I know that. I dyed my hair black 4 years ago. Kept it that way for a year.... less because I wanted it black still, and more because I didn't want to chop it.

There was no way that I could strip the black out of my hair without destroying my hair. And temporary black dye is not temporary... the box lied!

So waist length hair got chopped.

I miss my waist length hair. Someday it will be that long again....

Yeah, never tell your elementary-school classmates that you have a washable dye in your hair. When the black fails to wash out in the 12 (24?) shampooings then they have a lot of fun discussing how you clearly never wash your hair, because the wash-out dye is still there. But what with it washing out slowly the roots don't really show anyhow. (I dyed it in grade 6, the year after I chopped my hair off, so it was still only shoulder length. Took several years to finally get rid of all that damaged hair though. It was all gone by the time I donate it though).

Yay! Ji may be the only happy one, but I think it's a good thing. Of course, now comes the hard part: you have to keep him on ignore, and you have to not call/text him. Somehow, I think that will be harder for you than it was for BSE to go back to that eye place to talk to that tech.
