It was. But then you refused to elaborate as to WHAT exactly they were a safety net FOR... so I took it and ran with it. And got you blushing, I think.
is it a single speed or mutli? i ask cause one is an easy fix, the other may require special tools
single speed. my cousins husband came over and tightened the back screws as tight as they'd go. Naturally, it now slips off more than ever. I'm usually biking home in pretty decent traffic and I'd love to not fall into it.
edit: its a shitty walmart bike, it may not be salvageable period.

loosen said nuts, pull back on tire while keeping it straight and re-tighten nuts. if it keeps doing it after that pick up a chain link tool at academy or wally world and remove one link and retention. that should fix it. might also look at the sprockets to make sure they are straight. if its a nexxt bike they have a bad habit of warped main sprockets because of how they are shipped.
