Dear Sandman,
So...it's been a while. I know last June I told you I needed some space; thank you for being so understanding. Being able to stay up all night and sleep all day--or not at all!--really helped me this summer. There were some awesome movie marathons, hours of mindless internet fun, late night/early morning Walmart treks, and a few rambling, no destination sun down to sun up drives (my favorite!). I had a lot of fun and really got in touch with the inner "me."
But...well...
I miss you. Please come back.
I just can't do it anymore. I had my fun and now I need you back; I'm ready to admit how important you are to me.
Seriously, I need to be at school in six hours to finish setting my classroom up for the year. I can't do this without you. So, how about you and I give it another try?
Please, Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream.
