Considering I work in our Customer Service department, it would be frowned on if I went to a site called Customerssuck.com. I leave my surfing this site for after work. We can view the sites that don't get blocked by the firewall, but they track our time spent on non-company sites, so I have to leave that for lunches & breaks.
I won't complain though. The last company only allowed internet use of company sites. Anything else, and you'd be called into a private room with your supervisor & top management. I'm so glad I don't work there anymore.
