RIP Mom

my Mother's health has been stedily going downhill for the past 2 years. since then it has been a question of WHEN not if she was going to pass from this reality/realm.

about 3 months ago she started to suffer atrial-fiblirations (sp) and had some trouble with congestive heart condition. her mind has been gong since then. on her birthday in mid July I called her and she did not really know who I was. for the last week she did not eat or drink anything.

I got a call from my sister around midnight saying Mom had finally passed. Dad passed about 16 years ago.

I am glad I was still able to visit her when all was still relatively good. at least she made it for 93 years. think of the things that have happened in just her lifetime.

Sorry, RacketMan, that is a hard thing to have to go through, even if it was clearly time. It's good you got to see her before she got so out of it.

Ninety plus years is a good run, it sounds like she got the most out of her life and then some.
