another thing that can help is drink plenty of water-when you dehydrate your body will store water within fat cells, women have more fat cells in their tummy sooooo...dehydration=more tummy pooch.
My legs are solid-I ride a bike everywhere, as walking more than a mile or two is murder on my knees-cycling is pretty much zero impact, so no knee pain/damage.
