I've been working at a gas station down the street for a month, because I didn't have a car to get any further, and the roommates have been kind enough to help me out in getting to and from. Now, they are selling me their extra car, and yay for having a boyfriend who's a mechanic so he can check it out and tell me what's making the funny sound. Anyway, I've been applying for better jobs that I'm more qualified for. I got a call back last night on one of them, a one year contract position that pays $14/hr. That is almost double what I'm making now. Please cross your fingers that I get it!
