  • And, lo, it is done! *falls over*

I will now take this moment to gush about something- For the past week, I have been working on a 10-page report for my Legal Environment of Business class. As of right as I'm typing this, I am printing it off. I have finished the paper. *falls over* This thing has been haunting my nightmares...mostly because I may or may not have waited until the last week before the due date to actually work on the thing. I'm so horrible at that. But now it is off my mind. Huzzah!

I am taking that class also. We have to do a legal research paper but don't think it will be very long because he has not even assigned it yet and we have to do the presentation on Dec 9th. My teacher is a lawyer who only picked up this class for one semester until he starts at a law firm in Minnesota so he is pretty slack and cute..LOL

Thanks, guys. *hugs* And, jnd4, I *wish* mine could've been a research paper. For mine, I had to read two books (Upton Sinclair's The Jungle, which was painfully boring, and Ayn Rand's Anthem, which was actually pretty interesting), compare and contrast 'em (with added info from other sources on socialism and collectivism), then state how the protagonists of each book would vote for Amendments 60 and 61 and Proposition 101. And this is for my *business* class.

I one did a full 10 page paper literally the night before. I'd done all the research but hadn't written a damn thing until the last minute. I got an A on it.

Really? I found it fascinating. And sad. And kinda icky in some parts.

Of course, everyone focuses on the food aspect and not the Socialist aspect that Sinclair was really pushing.

For me, it was *too* sad. It seemed to be just one tragedy after another after another. I've read books that follow a similar plot and even take place in the same time period as The Jungle that weren't so depressing.
