I read in the paper today a patient I cared for died today.

I have a bad feeling that we have not heard the last from her family.

Patient took a turn for the worse while I was caring for her. It wasnt anything I did, and I know I did my best taking care of that family the whole night, they were so scared and stressed. The patient was eventually transferred to a floor that better catered to her particular issue and I lost track. Ive thought about her often and just last night got a feeling about her as I passed her old room.

I get online today and theres her obit.

I pray her family is at peace with this.
