I remember back at my high school, one of the football thugs was hassling some of the band members.
The star quarterback showed up and he gave the thugs such a massive dressing-down for their douchebaggery!
He went on to tell them that the band practiced just as hard as they did and that he had better not catch them pulling any such shenanigans in the future.
My brother, who was one of the bandos getting hassled was absolutely shocked to have one of the athletes stand up for him, and even moreso for it to have been the varsity quarterback.
