Mom had her surgery yesterday afternoon.
She came through it and was resting comfortably when we saw her last night.
She didn't appear to be in a lot of pain, but I think the dementia kind of helps to keep her from realizing how much pain she's in.
Mind you, I was a bit blown away when she asked for my friend by name. She's met him about 3 times, but she hasn't really acted like she was aware of who he was, and seemed to be confused that my husband wasn't there.
I went in last night and she asked if he was at home or at work.
She had moments where she seemed to drift in and out of reality a bit, but the main things is that she isn't in a lot of pain, and there was no damage to the knee.Too tired of living and too tired to end it. What a conundrum.Comment
