Ive honestly stopped trying to help her, but I wont stop speaking my mind around her. She knows how I feel about it. Shes cares about her alcohol more than she cares about hurting my feeling. But you know, its always been this way.

That's the booze. I know what it's like; my dad was an alcoholic. My mom kicked him out eventually because of that. He never really stopped drinking, although he did cut back some after he had to have a triple bypass.

You have to do what's right for you and your kids. Best of luck to you all, I hope your mom eventually decides that she wants to change her life.
