Well, yours truly is on the market, and I know how to use one of those KitchenAids to make the best damn cookies you've ever had.

Yeah, the rule of thumb is that you aren't supposed to buy a woman anything with a power cord on it.
Hmmm. I can think of at least one thing with a power cord that I would like... batteries run out too fast.

That's why I use rechargeable batteries.

A man that can do dishes is also hot, just sayin'. I hope hope hope I get one of those as a wedding present.
My mom has a plaque in the kitchen that says, "No woman ever shot a man while he was doing the dishes."

The other day I asked Fiance what he wanted for dinner. He gave me a pleading look and said, "Something that doesn't involve a lot of dirty dishes."

                      Actually, research shows that works!

Mark & Brian were reading off some list of things to help couples get into the mood, and among the things that would help would be split or shared chores. Something to do with the bonding that goes one when both partners are working on the same task or whatnot.

I have wanted one of those mixers for years (in red to match our small appliances in the kitchen), but everywhere I look at the prices, they're still out of my reach.

Besides, they're so heavy neither me or Mom could lift the thing to move it from the counter to the table in front of the fridge to use it.

RK, you are one lucky duck.

Amazon's got a four and a half quart one in red right now for a 230 bucks. That's a pretty good price.

the things are epic. i don't think the design has changed in the past 30 or so years. there's no real need to. hard to improve upon perfection, as they say.
my mom had (has? it's still in the kitchen...) one and some of my oldest memories are of her hauling that thing from the cabinet onto the counter. as soon as we were big enough to pick it up, we'd be doing the hauling.
btw, The Boy and i totally got one as a wedding present last weekend. i'm kinda stoked for us to actually have a place of our own so i can use it.

I always figured it was just that after doing all the housework, the woman was too damn tired to want get frisky.

I realize that many men do do household chores, though. I know someone like that. He'll do pretty much any chore that needs doing. He's married, though.
