After almost a year of going to one Dr and Specialist, test and procedures, my SIL now knows why she has hurt so bad. These are Drs that were telling her that there was nothing wrong. CANCER!!! They did biopsies earlier this week And don't know what kind yet. It is just frustrating to have to go and push to find out and have them tell her that nothing is wrong and quit bothering them.(that is what it seemed like) If she hadn't pushed she would not have known until it was too late. She is feeling good now that she knows the reason for the pain and something can be done. The pain has been on the right side just under the ribs, took pieces from around gallbladder and that area.

    Prayers and good thoughts needed.

Yikes ... but on the plus side there is a diagnosis, and currently treatments are better than in the past, and it is more survivable now. I have gone through chemo twice so far and there are tricks and meds to make it go easier now.

Crossing fingers, toes, anything else I can think of. Hope they caught it early enough.

      Best of luck.

        Good luck. *big hugsssss*

There are a lot of options out there now for treatment, and at least she found out now! I'm sure it's a relief to know what's going on, as much as it sucks to have it.

It is an unpleasant diagnosis, but it's a great relief to know what is wrong.
There are very effective treatments nowadays and personally I found that the side effects of the chemo was treated very effectively. I never felt worse than I do when I have the flu and had time to get well between treatments.

*offers hugs and kitty snuggles* I'm glad she got diagnosed at least. As someone said, there are lots of treatment options. My dad had cancer and was able to take some kind of chemo-pill as treatment. He had some nasty side effects, like he was sick to his stomach sometimes and a lot of foods didn't taste good so overall he didn't have much appetite. But it wasn't painful, it didn't wear him out (at least not as much as regular chemo would -- in fact after a couple weeks of taking it he started getting a lot more energy since it was battling the cancer that was sapping his energy) and he didn't lose his hair. And he didn't have to go anywhere for treatment. He took the pills for a couple of years and is now cancer free.
