  • Bananas are supposed to be comedic....

.... So here's a little something from my adventures as an insta-mommy to a 2 1/2 year old.

This morning, D and I woke up late, but Connor didn't. Apparently he was hungry, so he went into the kitchen (the way the house is set up we can't put up a baby gate to keep him out) and got the FOUR bananas that were left. D and I found banana and banana peel on the floor when we woke up. Unfortunately I just found some more banana.. by stepping in it in bare feet. Thank goodness it was on the laminate and not on our brand new area rug

Of all the cold gooey things to go "skooge" between your toes, banana is the best!

    (Definitely the least worst!)

        Much better than a goldfish.

        I speak from experience.

        (it was suicidal, OK?)

If you haven't seen the movie Amelie yet, go watch at least the first 10 or 15 minutes about her childhood. This just reminded me.

On the bright side, at least it's something you can clean up!

At least it wasn't kitty-barf. Or doggie-barf. Etc.

Someone left an entire banana outside my dorm building the night after move-in day (August 26th), and it stayed there until sometime in October, by which time it finally disintegrated. I witnessed a couple of messed up guys coming back in after a late night and stepping in it, in their designer flip flops

Try finding half a mouse with your bare toes. In your shoe. My kitties love me.

So yeah, after the past few days, I've decided to start a blog detailing my adventures as insta-mommy so that one day Connor and Zoie and Jayden can read about it. I'm going to post the link in my signature, simply because some of the stories are going to be too amusing to keep to myself.
