Darn Jester, even I got a pathetic passive-aggressive letter explaining why our rent was going up.

Well, I tried calling them several times this morning, each time getting their voice mail. Idiots.

Finally I got a hold of Spineless Manager about half an hour before my bar opened, and told me I had not heard from the woman in the corporate office he told me I'd be hearing from. It didn't take long to figure out part of the problem: dude had written my phone number down wrong, i.e. 456 instead of 654. The sad part of this is that they have my phone number on file, and it has not changed since I moved in here over five years ago!

In any case, he told me the woman would call, in the evening or on the weekend (in other words, when I'm not at work and unable to answer my cell), but did not hear from her tonight. For some reason, I am not overly shocked.

I think Spineless Manager just wants me to go away and stop bothering him.
