I have work - finally.

I got laid off in April of 2008.

Since then, I've had one very small temp job. About 9 days or so. And that was just last month.

Well, today I started at a longer term temp job. About 90 days at this point - call center work.

So, I may well have some stories for you - something I've never had before. I'm not quite sure what smiley to put up here, to be honest.

Only thing that would be better would be if it were permanent.

Congrats on the new job! Hey, it's a start. Is there any chance of it turning from a temp position to a permanent one? If nothing else it's a good, recent reference.

We don't know. Currently, it's just a 90 day thing. But the good news is that I can put it on my resume (and have) to show that yes, I am employable.
