I have been searching for three days now trying to find this movie.
All I remember is that it is Chinese, fantasy (as in magic spells, goddesses, evil sorcerers), probably made within the last 10 years, and that a Japanese rock/pop singer played the bad guy. The opening scene has the heroine (I think) running across the surface of a lake.
It was a very visually pretty movie but I don't remember that it was award-worthy or anything. Also, the Japanese singer doesn't appear to have ever acted before or since this movie.
I don't think it was Green Snake, either
ETA: I just remembered some more. The closing battle scene had people either encased in or surrounded by an ice/crystal wall. There was a ring of fire around it and wolves.
