I quite like my current job: Good pay, stable hours, good management, daily breaks. Yesterday, I found out a girl I went to High School with just got hired and is now in training. Sadly, not one of the nice, respectful people either. She's the type of person who always has negative opinions of everyone and everything and has no problem expressing them in the form of "advice" and snappy remarks.
Example #1:
We were partners in drivers training. She is 2 years older than me and, therefore, expected to be a better driver. She wasn't. She refused to let go of the wheel when turning and sped up/braked too hard. When the teacher tried to correct her, she fought him insisting she knew more then he did. When I got my permit before her, she approached me to let me know "he only passed you because you're pretty" and then made snide remarks about my driving skills for the next few months.
Example #2:
She has a boyfriend in Florida for about 2 years who she never met in person. She talked about him a lot and one day showed me a picture of him. Long blonde hair, greasy, kinda shifty looking, not the type of guy I'd date. She asked my opinion. I hate being asked this because If I say he's cute, the girl could get defensive thinking I want to steal him. If I say he's ugly, that would be rude and offensive. I said he looks like a nice guy so I would be complimenting him without expressing potential attraction. "Well what the hell is that supposen to mean" was her response. I said "It means I think he looks like a nice person". She said "Well, whatever. I don't know why I even bothered asking you". I tried taking to her less so maybe she would leave me alone. Instead, she insisted I had an attitude problem and I should fix that if I want to keep my friends.
Example #3:
In class, a guy on the other side of the room was eating those Ritz peanut butter cracker things. She flipped out and started calling him names.
He asked what her problem is.
She told him she is allergic to nuts and he is being rude and selfish.
He said he won't bring them near her.
She called him a moron and a dumbass and told him to educate himself on allergies, then turned to me and asked if she was right.
I put a hand up and asked to be left out of it.
She rolled her eyes and said she should have known I would "pull that shit with her".
I hope she works a totally different shift in a totally different group
