As a company that actually ends up with scrap, I can say, unequivocally, that the Bosses despise people who try to come on property to help themselves to our scrap cardboard and/or pallets.
We don't recycle our pallets or our cardboard.
But the company has an arrangement with a crew that does do that, and so if you take our scrap stock, then you are stealing from them.
Plus, the vast majority of managers hate having Joe Blow on the property taking things because if they get hurt, then the company might be liable.
