As mentioned previously, in various threads, I've been in PT for the last month. And we're starting to see results.
For the first time in years, my knees don't hurt on a daily basis.
For the first time in months, I feel strong.
For the first time in weeks, I can use my left arm normally.
For the first time since November, I ran over 2.5 miles, at a 12-minute pace. And I feel pretty good, today. Probably could have kept going, if I wasn't starting to drive my heart rate up too high.
My right shoulder is still being a little bitch - two steroid treatments, and it's still inflamed. One more, and they send me back to the doc for the Horse Needle. *whimper*
But goddamn. I actually feel human, and not like a pile of walking PAIN SO MUCH PAIN. What a miracle.
Now here's to hoping I get one more day out on the mountain before the snow melts too much.
