Hi,
I worked as a bar maid during college at a shady, Days Inn bar. After college I started working as Chem Lab Tech, but the petrol-chemical industry took a big hit, and I attempted to work as a cashiere at the busiest, dirtiest convenience store in Northeast Texas: I lasted 3 nights. I call it my "failure at the cave".(Star Wars reference) Between drive offs, the sheer volume of customers, and a trainer who could care less, I was short at least 40$ each shift. After the 3rd shift I surrendered, after that I worked at a chicken processing plant cutting up rotten dead chickens. I finally got another lab job and I been working in at lab jobs for the past 7 years.
But my days as a bar-maid and that brief hellish experience as till jockey is burned into my mind!!
