  • Boy from Maine

New here as a member but have lurked for a few months getting the feel of the place. I am in my fifties and no longer work directly with the public, however over the years I have worked as a store clerk, construction zone flagger, census taker, farmer, and jack of all trades. I live in the State of Maine and presently hold a high administrative position with a pipeline supply company. My administrative methodology relys heavily on people. If the people who work for you do not respect themselves or the company they work for, they will not respect the customer. And not all customers are deserving of respect. I have told a $1,000,000 customer to go to the competition because they abused my employees.
Looking forward to making a few comments from time to time.

If ultimately you let the people that fuck you over decide your attitude then they won.

A long overdue to CS, Eben56.

So glad to see you fit right in, despite the lack of 'official' greeting. (I fell 6 pages behind, somehow, but I'm trying to catch up. )

Great posts. So glad you've joined us.
Too tired of living and too tired to end it. What a conundrum.

      Welcome

I have me a girl from Maine. Monmouth to be exact.
Maniacs are great. I'll never give her up.

      Looking forward to some stories.
